There are several reasons why colors on a screen may look different from colors printed on the packaging.

The most common reason is that packaging is often printed using CMYK inks, which look different on a screen that displays RGB colors.

Other factors include the type of paper used, the way colors are mixed, and lighting conditions.

The packaging may also be covered with a glossy film that reflects light differently than a screen does. Given the effect of all these factors, it's not surprising that colors can look very different when you see them with your own eyes.

Whatever the reason, it's important to realize that the colors you see on a screen aren't always an accurate representation of the colors you see in person.

When it comes to packaging printing, the three most commonly used color models are RGB, Pantone, and CMYK. Here's a brief overview of each:

  • RGB (Red, Green, Blue) is a color model used for digital displays like televisions, computers, and smartphones. When all three colors are combined at full strength, you get white light.
  • Pantone is a special color system used primarily by designers and printers. It allows for more precise color matching than RGB or CMYK.
  • CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Key/Black) is a color model used for printing with inks on paper. The 'K' stands for 'Key', as black is often used as the background or 'key' color in print materials.
